TIFS Master Class (01/07/11):
On Friday, January 7, 2011 Ida Kavafian, renowned violinist and faculty member of the Curtis Institute of Music, gave an inspiring three-hour master class at the Sloman residence. Six students performed and many current and former TIFS students and faculty members were in attendance. Ms. Kavafian has generously offered to return to do a benefit concert with duos from among the TIFS students. |

| TIFS Master Class (10/18/10): |
Ani Kavafian, renowned concert artist and a Professor at Yale University, gave a wonderful master class for TIFS students, alumni, and faculty on October 18th. These events are held free of charge and not only provide a valuable educational and performing experience for our community but also make the quality of TIFS students and its programs more widely known. |

TIFS Master Class (5/25/10): |
A Master Class with James Ehnes, considered by some to be "the Jascha Heifetz of our day", was held on May 1, 2010, in conjunction with his appearance with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Students and parents gained invaluable insight from Mr. Ehnes during the two hour session. Mr. Ehnes' playing was extraordinary and his teaching insights were priceless. |
